Job Description

Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated Master Scheduler to join our manufacturing operations in Richmond, VA. This essential position focuses on coordinating production timelines to maximize output and guarantee that our goods reach customers on time. We are looking for a highly organized individual who excels at solving complex challenges to help drive our production success. Core Duties Create and oversee the primary production timeline to align with both client needs and our internal manufacturing capacity. Work alongside procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure everyone is synchronized regarding resource distribution and scheduling. Track stock levels and modify plans proactively to avoid either inventory deficits or surplus. Evaluate manufacturing metrics to pinpoint patterns and discover opportunities to boost scheduling productivity. Keep leadership and staff informed about timeline adjustments and how these shifts might affect manufacturing output. Leverage specialized scheduling applications to refine production workflows and generate accurate reports. Engage in ongoing optimization projects to help elevate our scheduling standards and boost total operational results. Required Background A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline is considered an asset. Demonstrated history of working in production scheduling, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Strong capabilities in data analysis to help drive smart, evidence-based decision-making. Superior verbal and written communication skills to foster strong collaboration across various departments. Advanced competency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and familiarity with scheduling programs. High level of precision and the ability to effectively juggle numerous competing tasks. Familiarity with continuous improvement strategies and lean manufacturing concepts is beneficial.
