Job Description

Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description Support shipping operations by palletizing steel products and preparing loads Ensure materials move efficiently onto trucks and out of the facility Perform hands-on work with metal products and material-handling equipment Assist with general labor tasks to keep shipping and receiving running smoothly Responsibilities Palletize steel and metal products safely and securely for shipment Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks Stage, organize, and move materials to and from dock areas Build and prepare loads to meet shipping requirements and deadlines Wrap, band, and label pallets as needed Perform heavy lifting and manual material handling safely Work both indoors and outdoors as needed Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving Forklift operation skills Ability to use a pallet jack Comfortable handling steel and metal materials Ability to lift heavy materials regularly General labor experience in a warehouse or industrial setting Ability to build and organize loads safely and efficiently Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience palletizing and preparing shipments Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments Strong focus on safety and proper material handling Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
