In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, procurement, and management of materials essential for production processes. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless inventory flow, optimize supply chain operations, and support or fabrication efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and technical expertise will drive operational success. Duties Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials Manage inventory levels through effective inventory control, demand planning, and materials management strategies Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and maintain strong supplier relationships Support production planning by aligning materials availability with manufacturing schedules Oversee logistics, warehouse operations, and transportation to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times Conduct regular inventory audits, Remnant counts, and warehouse inspections to maintain accuracy and accountability Implement manufacturing principles to streamline material flow, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance Skills Proficiency in other supply chain management software Strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing procedures, and supplier management Experience with MRP systems for production planning and inventory forecasting Knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and demand planning techniques Ability to manage contracts effectively and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers Familiarity with inventory management best practices including inventory control and lean manufacturing methods Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments including manufacturing, logistics, and procurement teams Join us as a Material Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly by expertly managing materials from procurement through delivery.
