Position Summary The Trade Planner is responsible for coordinating work requirements, schedules, and production constraints to support efficient operations. Key responsibilities include estimating work at the work center level, optimizing resource utilization with Production leadership, establishing work sequences, ensuring material and planning readiness, tracking process performance, progressing work, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role will also work with manufacturing management, trades and industrial engineers to determine, document, implement, and standardize best practices by work center, and to improve process performance. Domestic travel may be required. Essential Functions Determine priority and sequence for work orders using schedule and criticality information Initiate, prep, estimate and release work orders, and deliver to manufacturing supervision Identify work order requirements and monitor completion, expediting as necessary Resolve material and information issues preventing closure of work orders Other duties as assigned
