Job Description
Position Overview Big Dawg Roofing & Construction is seeking a highly organized and motivated Production Manager / Project Coordinator to oversee project scheduling, material procurement, and production operations. This role serves as a key liaison between crews, project managers, customers, and insurance representatives to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness and problem-solving are essential. Responsibilities Order and coordinate delivery of materials for roofing and construction projects. Create, maintain, and manage production schedules. Coordinate daily operations with field crews and project managers. Monitor project progress and address scheduling conflicts as they arise. Process and manage work orders from start to completion. Assist with insurance claim documentation and claim-related communication. Maintain accurate project records and job status updates. Ensure customer expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Support efficient workflow and timely project completion. Participate in an on-call rotation and remain available for urgent project needs. Qualifications Previous experience in roofing, construction, project coordination, production management, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience working with insurance claims is a plus. Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and basic computer systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Work Schedule Full-time position. On-call availability required 24/7 for urgent project and customer needs. Some after-hours and weekend communication may be required.
