The Role The Supply Chain Specialist plans and coordinates material flow, inventory, and supplier relationships to support manufacturing and distribution. This role ensures alignment between production needs, inventory accuracy, and material availability. You will work closely with purchasing, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to manage inventory, control costs, and mitigate supply chain risks, while also supporting sourcing activities and providing backup to the Supply Chain Manager as needed. Day in the Life Looks Like Plan and coordinate incoming bulk materials on a daily and weekly basis Collaborate with logistics for scheduling pickups and backhauls Serve as backup to the Supply Chain Manager Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee inventory control processes Source bulk materials for production and resale Negotiate pricing, contracts, quality standards, and delivery timelines Maintain system updates for cost, vendors, and lead times Collaborate on forecasting with warehouse teams Evaluate supplier performance What You Bring Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with MRP systems and inventory management.
