GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position will provide planning and operations support to their assigned value stream, and will be the liaison between the operations, supply chain and sales teams. The Planner will create and see work orders to completion, maintain work order dates, improve the MRP system and assigned MRP parameters, and create/maintain the capacity plan for their assigned value stream. In addition, this role will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers by providing timely and accurate information about work orders, sales orders and materials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains MRP and Evo system data to support effective scheduling and ultimately delivery to Bevco's customers Supports the material handling teams to ensure work orders are started on time and the operations team is set up for success Drives true root cause analysis and corrective actions for OTD misses Team player that can engage cross functionally with multiple departments, and is willing to drive constructive conflict Understands and maintains capacity planning concepts and settings, and can effectively use them to manage customer orders and workload in their assigned value stream Works proactively to evaluate work order shortages and engages with the purchasing team to expedite purchase orders to meet customer due dates
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree or equivalent experience is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations is strongly preferred 1-2 years of planning or equivalent Supply Chain experience is required CPIM certification through APICS or willingness to complete the certification within 1 year of employment is required The above represents the essential job functions that you are assigned to perform in your job.
