Position Summary:
The Resident Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring safe, timely transportation of Residents to and from scheduled appointments. This role requires patience, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to Resident safety and dignity throughout the entire trip. This position is more than just driving - it is about providing reassurance, support, and compassionate care while assisting Residents with mobility and appointment access.
Responsibilities Include:
Safely transporting Residents to and from medical appointments Assisting Residents in and out of the vehicle or community bus Escorting Residents into buildings and ensuring they arrive at the correct office Assisting with appointment check-in when necessary Following all safety policies and traffic regulations Maintaining confidentiality of Resident and community information Demonstrating professionalism, tact, and sensitivity at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Sincere desire to work with the elderly and physically disabled population Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to assist Residents safely in and out of vehicles If you are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, we encourage you to apply today!
