Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and construction sector, is seeking a Logistics Specialist V to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist V, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting project management and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
M-F What's the Job? Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on logistics strategies, global movements, and transportation of equipment and materials during major capital projects. Collaborate with stakeholders including project engineers, procurement managers, and construction teams to develop and implement effective logistics plans. Lead the development of freight profiles and ensure visibility of project equipment and materials within the integrated materials management system. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, overseeing port operations, marine voyages, heavy haul, and transportation safety. Oversee execution of physical materials management activities, including warehousing, surplus disposition, and turnover of materials at project completion. What's Needed? Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management; 8-10 years preferred. High school diploma required; college degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree. Deep knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation. Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
