The LPG, Biofuels & Petchem operator/scheduler will be responsible for the logistics related to the trading activities for the corresponding desks in the Americas, interacting with a wide variety of companies from traders and oil majors to midstreamers & storage providers. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge and scheduling experience for a wide range of products that will be included in the portfolio: ethanol, ETBE, MTBE, biofeedstocks, olefins, aromatics and NGLs. Experience managing storage capacity, both inland and export oriented is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and control the logistic operations involved in loading/discharging/blending oil products and biofuels, NGLs and chemicals Establish close communication with key counterparty personnel as well as inspection companies, shipping agents, ship-owners, logistics and planning departments Work with traders in order to receive, prepare and send instructions (including voyage and load/discharge) as well sampling, testing, and storage and tank management. Take care of all cargo documentation, ensuring, among other things, compliance with import and export requirements and taxes Ensure that all documents of operations are tracked and easily obtained by maintaining information in the systems, files and archives with the relevant documentation Prepare and agree on cargo invoices, price calculations and timely payments Participate in the evaluation of inspection companies and agencies Comply with company procedures to ensure all the information is registered on time Balance tank inventories, monitor gains and losses, track terminal cost and ensure contract terms are followed by all parties involved Interact with our internal and external customers, always keeping a commercial approach Analyze operations, market and procedures around the business to identify areas of improvement and be responsible of the implementation Provide market intelligence related to market flows and trends that can derived from the interaction with agents, surveyors, midstreamers and counterparties Take full responsibility for the P&L for every cargo and storage in respect of side and secondary costs as well as heels and tolerances, providing a full understanding of them when requested by the trader, Middle office or any other stakeholder Take full responsibility for the P&L for every cargo and storage in respect of side and secondary costs as well as heels and tolerances, providing a full understanding of them when requested by the trader, Middle office or any other stakeholderREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer. No company sponsorships A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Master's degree in refining/chemicals/biofuels will be valued A minimum of 10 years of experience in O&G logistics, scheduling and operations Additional experience in other O&G fields will be valued (industrial plants operations, maintenance, safety, processes, inspection, shipping) Knowledge in shipping operations will be valued Strong knowledge of US regional (pipe, rail, truck) and international energy flows by vessel Knowledge of US Gulf Coast and Latin America logistics will be positively considered Knowledge of storage facilities and blending Knowledge of refineries and chemical plants production Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Ability to work under pressure Ability to take initiative and be innovative Profit oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload Acute attention to detail executed with minimal error margin Knowledge of Spanish will be valued Repsol is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran #LI-KT1 If you do not find any vacancy that fits your profile, leave us your CV through the following link: 75337 ¡Únete a nuestro equipo!/ Join our team!
