We are hiring an entry-level Project Analyst to prepare technical Solid Waste & Loading Logistics narratives and support Project Managers. This is a writing-intensive position that requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly. This position offers a clear career path to Project Manager for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills. Responsibilities Prepare trash, recycling, and loading logistics management narratives Review architectural drawings Identify operational and design issues related to waste handling Research local regulations, hauler requirements, and service standards Analyze waste volumes, equipment sizing, and collection schedules Coordinate with internal project managers, designers, and engineers Communicate with clients, municipalities, and service providers Track deadlines and deliverables for assigned projects Assist project managers with coordination and deliverables Requirements Strong research, writing, and editing skills Comfortable communicating by phone with service providers regularly Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines Clear and professional communication style, follow through and accountability is expected Proven ability to problem solve Ability to read architectural plans Willingness to learn solid waste related regulations, codes, and operations requirements Experience with project management tools (Monday, Asana, Smartsheets, etc.) Proficiency with office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) Experience working in a Mac (macOS) environment This position requires daily attendance at our Emeryville office during the first three months of training. After training, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
