- Materials Coordinator - Electronic Component Production

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly organized Materials Coordinator to manage and process all material movement transactions in our electronic component production environment.
This role will be responsible for receiving incoming purchase orders, kitting materials to the production line, performing cycle counts, and shipping orders. The Materials Coordinator will work closely with quality teams and support warehouse and production processes, including inventory analysis and discrepancy resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- + Manage all material movement transactions in warehouse and production locations + Receive incoming materials, perform physical and visual inspections, and verify documentation + Handle internal product transfer shipments, work order picking, delivery to production lines, and shipping/receiving functions + Conduct inventory cycle counts and support discrepancy investigations + Triage incoming material parts for rework or scrap + Perform MRP transactions within SAP (or similar systems), including work order creation, inventory transfer, and order processing + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve receiving issues or discrepancies + Consolidate pending parts for repair, assist in material production planning, and prioritize urgent tasks + Maintain organization and cleanliness in inventory, docks, and the warehouse + Ensure quality documentation accompanies all shipments + Troubleshoot material movement issues and process roadblocks + Generate reports on inventory levels, units processed, and overall material status •
Qualifications:
- + Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 4-6 years of warehouse/inventory experience + Experience in MRP systems required (e.
g., SAP, Oracle) + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; able to multitask and make effective decisions + Experience with RMA, procurement, or Return to Vendor processes is a plus + Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities + Capable of working independently and completing tasks with minimal supervision + Strong team player and problem solver + Comfortable in a start-up environment + Proficient in Microsoft Office
