Job Description

Inventory Analyst Under general direction, analyzes inventory demand, usage trends, and materials management activities to ensure the accuracy, availability, and quality of inventory supporting OCTA operations. This position plays a key role in inventory optimization, system administration, reporting, and strategic materials management initiatives that support maintenance operations and service reliability. 45/ hour. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications. This posting will remain open until a candidate is selected. What You'll Do Analyze inventory demand, usage patterns, and stocking requirements to support operational needs Develop and implement inventory management strategies that promote efficiency and continuous improvement Monitor cycle counts, conduct audits, and analyze results to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance Maintain item master data and leverage Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to optimize inventory performance Generate and review replenishment recommendations, parts transfers, purchase orders, and inventory reports Manage federally funded inventory and ensure compliance with applicable funding requirements Coordinate disposal and retirement of obsolete inventory and equipment assets Develop reporting tools and dashboards to monitor inventory turnover, stock availability, and critical parts performance Support system implementation, testing, and process improvement initiatives related to materials management What We're Looking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex inventory and operational data Knowledge of inventory control, materials management, supply chain operations, and procurement processes Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems or similar inventory management platforms Ability to identify trends, improve processes, and develop data-driven recommendations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
