The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) to support contractor functions at
COMNAVSURFPAC N412
located at NAVSTA San Diego, CA.
  • The SLA will be responsible for providing R-Supply (Unit Level) assistance and training to Supply Department / Stock Control divisions on ships and activities assigned to CNSP. The training may be conducted onboard Navy ships, remotely via email or phone, or in a seminar classroom setting. The visits will support pre-deployment preparations and/or specific topics as needed.
  • The SLA will monitor and update R-Supply (Unit Level) training curriculum and facilitate R-Supply training seminars. The seminars will cover all aspects of R-Supply used by Logistic Specialist (LS) personnel on Unit and Force Level ships and activities.
  • The SLA will make extensive use of NTCSS R-Supply training databases to conduct hands on troubleshooting of reported R-Supply problems and to enhance training procedures.
The SLA will be responsible for monitoring Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP) Supply Logistics metrics for CNSP activities, providing analysis, data mining and initiating solutions to assist activities not meeting TYCOM goals.
Qualifications Required:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. As a substitute for the degree, eight years of "hands-on" experience in a combination of automated supply/maintenance management may be utilized. Training related to the "degree substitute" provided at Navy schools is considered "hands on" experience.
  • In addition to any experience that is substituted for education, the Senior Maintenance Analyst must have eight years of experience with logistics, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of the automated supply systems.
  • Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with NTCSS (R-Supply Unit or Force Level) software from a Stock Control manager aspect to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions.
  • Must have expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify. Desired
  • Familiarity with Navy supply and maintenance​ relationships, organizations, and management databases is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.
S. Navy Senior Enlisted Logistics Specialist with tours on
CG/DDG/LHA/LHD
class Navy ships.
  • Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct individual and seminar training.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
