Material Procurement Buyer

Please visitwww.megaforcecorp.com for more information We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist / Material Buyer for our materials group: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

• Responsible for procuring the highest quality material at the best value and coordinating the efficient movement for materials to the end user to ensure on-time delivery per kit schedules.
• Solicit quotes, review bids and placed orders from an AVL. Ensures lead times are correct.
• Manages suppliers on allocated and unique components.
• Reviews MRP new and changed information, coordinates cancellation efforts and communicates exception to MRP cancellation instructions.
• Reviews MRP and determines material requirements.
• Manage inventory to minimize risk of excess/obsolescence, coordinates disposition of excess inventory, and participate in pro-active cost reduction activities.
• Reviews shortage reports and expedites material shortages. Clears MRB and B/R of discrepant materials.
• Review MRP exception reports and reschedules, push/pull and cancel orders.

Job Qualifications :

5 + years' experience in Electronic contract manufacturing purchasing experience

• BA/BS at 4-year accredited college
• preferably business degree
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Electronic contract manufacturing experience is a plus
• Understanding of various electronic components
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical/quantitative, writing and English language skills.
• Self motivated, Self Directed
• Critical emphasis on attention to detail
• Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint,etc.)
• Understanding of
