Job Description

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our remote Inventory HUB Planner position for our branch operations group, located in Ocala, FL. The Inventory Hub Planner manages the daily activity of Inventory Planning for all branch and HUB locations. This includes ensuring accurate allocations of products, forecasting for product needed, reconciling daily production orders, contacting customers, reporting, routing of truck services and active communications. Responsibilities may include:
Manage inventory stocking levels and item forecast for all branches and hub(s) in the region. Plan inventory to ensure accurate allocations of products based on sales forecasts. Run reports and analysis to create and maintain databases and spreadsheets for different users or areas. Ensure good customer service while dealing with customers' phone calls, follow-ups, and relationship management. Reconcile and confirm daily truck routes. Track and report efficiencies and yields associated with inventory management. Reconcile/track damage and loss of equipment. Manage the reduction of excess and obsolete inventory. Report to management/supervision daily out of stock items/materials. Review, monitor, and address full good inventory levels to minimize potential out of stock risk to sales. Communicate effectively and promote information sharing between teams and departments. Manage special inventory projects. Complete other duties as assigned

Possesses a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Has no discretion to deviate from established procedures by performing structured work assignments? Knowledge & Skills:
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills. Inquisitive nature and a passion for data integrity. Identify and analyze relationships contained within very large quantities of data. Strong skills with Microsoft Office programs. Access or relational database knowledge. Supply Chain Management experience. Business analysis experience. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to define, analyze, research, resolve, and communicate problems. Critical thinking skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, and to prioritize tasks, in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
1 - 2 years materials management, supply chain, or inventory planning experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business or equivalent experience required
