Logistics Analyst

Warehouse Logistics Analyst Position Summary The Warehouse Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting warehouse and distribution operations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost control. This role uses data, reporting, and process evaluation to support inventory management, labor planning, transportation coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze warehouse operations, inventory flow, and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, labor productivity, and shipping performance Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and root cause analysis of variances Collaborate with warehouse leadership to optimize layout, workflows, picking strategies, and storage utilization Assist with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and labor planning efforts Monitor inbound and outbound logistics performance, including carrier performance and on-time delivery metrics Support implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technology Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend process improvements Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
