Job Description

Our manufacturing client in West Des Moines is looking for a Materials Specialist! This position will be responsible for facilitating manufacturing and materials processing for new and existing clients.
Pay:
$26-32/hour
DOE Hours:
8am-4:30pm
Monday-Friday Job Duties:
Build cut sheets. Create Bill of Materials and quote products for customers. Order customer parts and materials. Track and maintain part numbers, quantities, and order revisions. Update materials list as changes occur. Create blueprints and draft instructions for manufacturing and assembly. Work directly with customers to identify needs, resolve issues, and recommend solutions.
Required Qualifications :
2-5 years' experience in a professional manufacturing, materials, or production environment AND 1-3 years' experience with sales and/or customer service. Computer proficiency.
