Job Description

Why work at ATC Manufacturing? ATC excels at manufacturing thermoplastic composite parts. Since 2004, ATC has led the way in high-rate manufacturing, specializing in mass-producing parts using unidirectional thermoplastic composite tapes. These innovative methods deliver faster production rates, enhanced part strength, and lower manufacturing costs compared to traditional composites. Our people are central to ATC's success. We value individuals who bring skill, curiosity, and accountability to their work and who take pride in contributing to a strong team. We are seeking a tech-savvy, data-driven Program Manager who is motivated by building durable systems, improving decision-making, and growing alongside a values- driven organization. Position Summary This hybrid, early-career role is centered on developing competitive, accurate customer quotes and delivering cost analyst insights that support Business Development and Accounting decisions. The Associate Program Manager and Cost Analyst gathers and validates quote requirements, coordinates cross-functional inputs (Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain), and builds cost/pricing analyses (materials, labor, overhead, freight, and tooling/NRE) to support profitable growth. The role also supports program execution by helping coordinate product introductions, maintain quoting/CRM/reporting processes, compliance, and provide ongoing financial visibility (budgets, forecasts, KPIs, variances, and margin insights). This position partners closely with Business Development and Accounting/Finance and will report to Business Development Manager. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Development to develop accurate, competitive quotes by gathering and validating RFQ inputs (drawings/models, revisions, specifications, volumes, delivery requirements, quality clauses, and key assumptions). Coordinate cross-functional inputs for quotes, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to confirm capability/capacity, identify tooling requirements, and define make/buy assumptions. Support cost build-ups and pricing analyses (materials, labor, overhead, freight, NRE/tooling, and recurring vs. non-recurring costs); reconcile to standard cost/ERP data where applicable. Document quote assumptions, exclusions, and risks; help route quotes for internal review/approval per the customer quoting process (e.g., management risk review and approval thresholds). Prepare and maintain quote packages and supporting documentation; track status, cycle time, and quote-to-order conversion in CRM/quote trackers and help improve the process through reporting and data cleanup. Maintain and improve quoting, CRM, and internal dashboards/reporting processes (data cleanup, documentation, automation, and visualization). Support product introductions by aligning customer expectations with internal manufacturing capabilities; help track milestones, deliverables, and action items. Coordinate cross-functional communication and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to address requirements, timing, risks, and operational strategies. Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets; support forecasting of expenses and tracking of profitability (P&L/margin) with Business Development and Accounting. Facilitate the review and monitoring of inventory for excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure; support reserve analysis and documentation. Partner with IT and Operations to enhance financial and operational system functionality (ERP/CRM/reporting) and ensure data accuracy, governance, and strong process controls. Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities within manufacturing operations and supply chain processes; help quantify benefits and track results. Help maintain cost records and costing master data (e.g., bills of materials, routings, standards) within the ERP system. Support inventory accounting activities (cycle count reconciliation, inventory reserves/adjustments, roll-forwards) and physical inventory counts/cutoff. Participate in certain accounting month-end close tasks, account reconciliations, supporting annual audits, and compliance activities Required Qualifications 2-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting operations finance, cost accounting, program coordination, quoting, or similar cross-functional work. Working knowledge of financial fundamentals (budgets/forecasts, P&L/margin concepts, KPI reporting) and basic cost accounting concepts (inventory, standard/job costing, variances, overhead).
Required:
strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, basic data cleaning); ability to build and maintain reports and reconcile data across sources.
Required:

Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with standard cost systems, inventory accounting, and/or quote-to-cash processes.
Desired:
experience in manufacturing planning/production planning (planner role), including scheduling, MRP concepts, work order review, and coordination of materials/operations to support on-time delivery. Experience with reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) or advanced Excel (Power Query). Basic SQL/data querying experience and comfort working with large data sets. Skills and Competencies Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes. Organized and able to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven close cycle.
