And we don't like losing. This is our truth. We help our customers think logistically. We are seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain Engineering team. In this role, you will act as a technical consultant, using data modeling and engineering principles to solve complex logistics challenges. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, designing optimized networks, and implementing data-heavy solutions that drive value for our mid-market clients.
Key Responsibilities Network Optimization:
UtilizeIE/OR concepts to design and optimize supply chain networks, focusing on lead-time reduction, cost-saving initiatives, and facility location modeling.
Data Architecture & Reporting:
Query large datasets using SQL to extract actionable insights. Build and maintain automated dashboards to track KPI performance and carrier reliability.
Process Engineering:
Analyze current transportation workflows and recommend process improvements using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Advanced Analytics:
Use Python to develop predictive models for demand forecasting, route optimization, and risk mitigation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to translate technical findings into business strategies for high-growth clients.
Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Degree:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Engineering, or a related Engineering/Business discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Data Analytics).
Experience:
0-3 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or an analytical role. We welcome high-potential recent graduates with relevant internship experience. Technical Requirements SQL (Required): Must be proficient in writing complex queries, joining tables, and managing data integrity. Python (Bonus): Ability to use Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn for data manipulation and automation. Tableau/Visualization (Bonus): Experience building interactive dashboards and "telling a story" through data.
Logistics Software:
Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or ERP modules is a plus.
Core Competencies Analytical Rigor:
Deep understanding of IE/OR concepts such as linear programming, queuing theory, and inventory optimization.
Problem Solving:
A "systems thinking" mindset—understanding how a change in one node affects the entire supply chain.
Communication:
Ability to explain technical engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
