Responsibilities Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits. Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models. Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes. Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations. Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies. Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications. Assist in business performance assessment and reporting. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree required. Degree in engineering, finance, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred. This position requires Five (5) or more years' work experience. Army knowledge/experience required. Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software. Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training. Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities. Available for occasional travel. This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.DESIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred. 5-8 years' work experience is required. DOD knowledge/experience required;TRANSCOM
experience preferred. Familiarity with deployment and distribution operations is desired. Excellent research, writing, briefing and staff coordination skills.Target salary range:
$75,000 - $100,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
