What you'll do:
SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the organization's supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, and sales teams to align material planning with build schedules Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and recommend optimal stocking strategies for components such as chassis parts, body materials, and custom assemblies Support supplier performance management by tracking delivery timelines, quality metrics, and pricing trends Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to inventory, lead times, and supplier reliability Assist in the development of sourcing strategies for critical materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, specialty components) Identify risks in the supply chain (e.g., shortages, delays) and propose mitigation plans Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics, warehousing, and production flow Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems and support system enhancements What you need to be successful:QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics (automotive or heavy equipment industry preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); experience with ERP/MRP systems required Familiarity with manufacturing environments, especially build-to-order or custom fabrication Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment Why Aebi Schmidt Group?
