LA SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
is seeking applicants for an
MATERIALS COORDINATOR
This is an Unclassified Full time 12 months and 8 hours per day position. To be filled immediately. Position #50695161 This position is responsible for coordinating the daily logistics, inventory, shelving and shipping of accessible instructional materials (braille, large print, kits and equipment) for students across the state. This role ensures timely processing, organization, and delivery of materials to support equitable access to curriculum. Materials Processing & Distribution Prepare, package, and ship accessible instructional materials to LEAs, schools, and families Receive, unpack, and process incoming materials and returns Pull, sort, and stage materials based on requests and timelines Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation Ensure materials are delivered in alignment with instructional timelines Inventory & Library Management Maintain inventory of braille, large print, and accessible materials Shelve, organize, and track materials within the Resource Center Apply and maintain barcodes for all materials Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or needs Order & Request Support Support Processing of materials requests through internal systems (e.g., KAS) Assist with tracking order status and ensuring timely fulfilment Coordinate movement of materials between districts when applicable Refer to Job Specifications.
