Job Description

Timpte is looking for a Kanban/Materials Coordinator for our
BRAND NEW
facility in Lincoln, NE ! The Kanban/Materials Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of material replenishment, presentation, and flow to ensure efficiency and accurate inventory records. This position has a key role in implementing and improving inventory control procedures and supporting new product development initiatives. Pay for this position is $24-34/hr (depending on experience) + Monthly Bonus! Timpte also offers

Primary Responsibilities:
Material replenishment (Kanban), material presentation (static bins/point of use), and material flow (feed the line). Improve inventory accuracy and reduce part shortages. Work directly with supply chain and operations to coordinate material flow processes. Ensure adequate parts presentation on shop floor. This includes, but not limited to; visual management, rack utilization, static bin locations, and signage for point of use storage, raw in process locations, and parts warehouse. Coordinate and process the disposition of materials impacted by engineering changes, including scrap, rework, and running change. Complete cycle counts on items specifically requested by material planners and operations team members. Conduct daily cycle counts, post adjustments to inventory, and assist with physical inventory count. Perform pull sequence audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability to the Kanban process. Investigate and conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances and work to correct in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum two years of manufacturing inventory/warehouse experience required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Required to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes and other equipment. Must be proficient in understanding Kanban and continuous improvement principles. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
