Job Description

Inventory Analyst Location:
Buffalo, NY Starting Pay:
up to $29/hour (pay is based on relevant experience) Responsibilities Reconcile finished goods inventory between Rich Products Corp (RPC) and third-party warehouses, including quantity and inventory status (Good, Blocked, QA). Post shipments, receipts, transfers, and inventory adjustments in SAP to ensure accurate, timely transaction posting. Audit electronic and manual warehouse transactions; validate source documentation, EDI messages, and inventory movement history. Resolve EDI errors, identify recurring EDI gaps, and partner with internal teams and 3PL contacts to prevent rework. Investigate orders that have not shipped/received in RPC systems; support accurate customer invoicing and timely posting. Maintain third-party warehouse inventory accuracy through cycle checks, discrepancy research, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Complete month-end inventory reconciliation within required timelines; document variances and resolutions. Identify and resolve discrepancies between
SAP, EDI
transactions, and 3PL portal data. Analyze transaction exceptions by type, frequency, and magnitude; recommend process improvements to reduce error rates and improve transaction flow. Support product withdrawals, recalls, and track-and-trace activities; ensure accurate lot/status visibility to customers. Process corporate holds of finished goods with third-party warehouses, including FDA holds; drive timely release when authorized. Execute disposition of on-hold and destroyed product processes within disposal cost parameters and company guidelines, including documentation, coordination, and account reconciliation. Support special projects as assigned. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and code of ethics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. 1+ year of business experience, including customer service exposure. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present issues clearly to warehouse partners and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness and ability to support a flexible work schedule when required. Strong PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP (or related ERP) experience preferred. Inventory reconciliation experience preferred. Essential Functions Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer. The position requires operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and third-party warehouse contacts and exchange accurate information in written and verbal formats.
