Import AMS/Entry Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import AMS/Entry Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Automated Manifest System (AMS) entries and ensuring smooth import processes for shipments entering the country. Your expertise will help streamline customs clearance, maintain compliance with import regulations, and support the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. Responsibilities Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate timely clearance of goods. Review shipping documentation meticulously to verify accuracy and completeness before submission. Monitor shipment statuses and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during customs processing. Maintain detailed records of all import transactions, including entry summaries, invoices, and related documentation. Utilize CRM software and other logistics tools to track shipments, update records, and manage communication channels efficiently. Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure proper inventory control and reporting following import clearance. Experience Proven experience in import operations, customs clearance, or related logistics roles. Familiarity with Automated Manifest System (AMS) procedures and U.S. Customs regulations is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience working with CRM software, inventory management systems, and other logistics tools. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and attention to detail. Pay:

$47,500.00 - $60,250.00 per year
