Inventory Analyst

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Analyst to support inventory reconciliation and order accuracy across off-site warehouse operations. This short-term contract role will play a critical part in ensuring data integrity between internal systems and third-party warehouse partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working with inventory data and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities + Perform daily reconciliation of inventory transfer loads shipped versus documentation received from off-site warehouse facilities + Verify product codes, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy + Accept transfer batches in the ERP system + Process inventory adjustments as needed + Communicate discrepancies or issues with off-site warehouse teams + Conduct daily reconciliation of customer orders against off-site warehouse Bills of Lading (BOLs) + Ensure product lots and quantities shipped match order requirements + Investigate and resolve discrepancies + Coordinate updates or adjustments to customer orders when necessary + Review and monitor EDI reports + Confirm all fulfilled orders have successfully transmitted to off-site warehouse customer service teams + Identify and escalate transmission errors or gaps + Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, logistics) and external warehouse partners to maintain accuracy and efficiency Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain support + Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management processes + Familiarity with EDI processes and warehouse documentation (BOLs, transfer records) + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reconciliation Preferred Skills + Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers + Ability to manage high-volume data and meet daily reconciliation deadlines + Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and process improvement Requirements 2+ years of experience in inventory management Ability to review EDI reports Reconciliation of inventory transfer loads Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
