Material Planning Co-Op: Fall 2026

Job Posting External Job Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and updating and monitoring daily/weekly production schedules. Help identify shortages or overages of materials and recommend actions. Collect and analyze production data. Prepare reports and dashboards for planning and performance tracking. Enter and maintain data in ERP systems. Support data accuracy for materials, BOMs, and routing. Work with production, kanban technician, procurement, and logistics teams to align plans. Participate in daily production meetings and planning reviews. Identify inefficiencies in planning or scheduling processes. Support lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects. Help document standard operating procedures related to planning. Maintain planning-related documentation and training materials. Attend training sessions on planning tools, systems, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
