Role:
The Materials Coordinator organizes and maintains inventory, conducts inventory cycle counts, assists with putting away incoming materials, investigates inventory discrepancies, manually pull material for scheduled jobs and perform all associated MRP transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, verify, and issue materials for work orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and condition. Transact inventory to work-in-process and deliver materials to designated production areas. Receive, label, store, and restock materials, including replenishing home locations from overflow stock. Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas to ensure accessibility and accuracy. Monitor inventory levels and fulfill material requests in a timely manner. Participate in cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory accuracy efforts. Assist with kitting and basic assembly tasks as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Sales, and Engineering. Provide support and guidance to team members on inventory-related questions. Safely operate material handling equipment, hand tools, and scales while following PPE and ESD requirements. Maintain working knowledge of tools and equipment used in daily operations. Support a clean, safe, and efficient workspace by removing waste materials and maintaining organization.
Required Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to work independently and multitask. Ability to lift, push, pull, guide 50+ lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
