This role analyzes procurement, inventory, and vendor performance data to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and ensure product availability across our operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, specialized industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Inventory Management Monitor and manage inventory levels for cryogenic equipment, gases, and related materials to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Coordinate purchase orders with approved vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Track and reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices in coordination with the accounting team. Vendor & Supplier Relations Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and service providers. Support vendor evaluation processes including price negotiations, performance reviews, and qualification of new suppliers. Resolve discrepancies, shortages, or delivery issues in a timely and professional manner. Process Improvement Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and accuracy. Support the implementation of supply chain tools, systems, and best practices. Assist with special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, or a related role. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required — including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams). Strong record-keeping and data entry accuracy. Experience working in a small-team or fast-paced operational environment a plus. Familiarity with cryogenic, industrial gas, or specialty chemical industries a plus. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a small-team environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and procurement practices. Familiarity with industrial, gas, or cryogenic industries is a plus.
