Job Description:
The individual should be able to work with existing team members to assist in the development of monthly briefs and data calls pertaining to, but not limited to: HM&E Technical Manuals (TMs), Planned Maintenance (PMS), Provisioning (Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), Allowance Equipage Lists (AELs), National Stock Numbers (NSNs), drawings, etc.), Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS) as well as Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables Primary responsibilities will be developing reports, tracking actions items, and assisting with the modifying of logistic products Draft, develop, and review logistics documentation; prepare proposed responses for review Maintain records, spreadsheets, and databases of Navy ship/HM&E logistics related information Conduct analysis across logistics, supply chain, and administrative functions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position 3-8 years of experience with Naval Logistics Systems that includes: Familiarity with HM&E shipboard equipment Experience in identifying material and logistical requirements for ship alteration and repair Experience creating and/or modifying ILS products such as Technical Manuals, PMS, or EOSS Familiarity with TMDERs and PMS Feedbacks Experience providing ILS such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), configuration management, provisioning, distance support, metrics development and tracking, and supply support to accomplish gas turbine logistics requirements Experience developing and/or modifying Gas Turbine Technical Directives (TD) such as Gas Turbine Changes (GTC) and Gas Turbine Bulletins (GTB) Familiarity with Navy Logistics databases and IT systems such as MGTIS, Weblog, NAVLOGTD, CDMD-OA, TDMIS, etc. Knowledge of military specifications and Navy technical documentation Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Be highly organized and detail-oriented Proficiency with Microsoft® Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.,)
