Refer a Friend Back to Search Inventory Management Analyst LaSalle Network is hiring an Inventory Management Analyst to support a leading organization in Downtown Chicago. This contract opportunity is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges, optimizing inventory performance and driving product transition initiatives. The Inventory Management Analyst will play a key role in managing SKU discontinuations, reducing obsolescence and supporting inventory strategies that minimize waste and maximize operational efficiency. What's the job? Lead end-of-life planning and execution for discontinued SKUs Manage product transition activities and ensure adherence to project timelines Track finished goods and raw material inventory runout plans Analyze inventory performance, waste and obsolescence trends Identify risks, root causes and opportunities for improvement Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, recommendations and mitigation plans Develop and maintain lifecycle management processes, policies and documentation Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Operations and Commercial teams to drive successful execution Support annual inventory optimization and obsolescence reduction initiatives Leverage data and reporting tools to support strategic business decisions What's needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management, Economics, Business, Logistics or a related quantitative field 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply planning, supply chain analytics or a related function Experience managing SKU discontinuations, inventory transitions or product lifecycle activities preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Query skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities Ability to mine, interpret and present large data sets Strong verbal, written and presentation skills SAP and Business Warehouse/Business Intelligence experience preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills What's in it for me?
