NAVSEALOGCEN
Code 645 in support of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). This position supports lifecycle logistics, provisioning, sustainment planning, configuration data management, and technical documentation efforts for naval systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Department of Defense (DoD) logistics, sustainment engineering, provisioning, technical data management, and acquisition support activities. This role directly contributes to improving system readiness, operational availability, and lifecycle support effectiveness for U.S. Navy programs. Key Responsibilities Provide technical engineering and logistics support for lifecycle sustainment and acquisition programs. Support development and implementation of Performance-Based Product Support (PBPS) and Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) strategies. Review and assess sustainment engineering and logistics products for accuracy and compliance with shipbuilding contracts, product baselines, and maintenance plans. Conduct supply support reviews of provisioning data, specification packages, and technical manual in-process reviews. Assist customer organizations with logistics operational readiness assessments and policy implementation. Support provisioning and allowance documentation development and validation activities. Assist with technical data reviews, information requests, and provisioning-related data calls. Coordinate with Navy stakeholders, OEMs, vendors, shipbuilders, and contractors regarding technical and logistics data. Develop configuration data management documentation and lifecycle support deliverables. Assist in development of training materials related to provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle logistics. Participate in provisioning conferences, working groups, maintenance effectiveness reviews, and technical meetings. Prepare technical reports, briefing packages, market research, project plans, meeting reports, quality assurance plans, and related documentation. Provide meeting minutes, action tracking, and follow-up coordination as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Navy, or Military Sealift Command logistics and sustainment programs. Knowledge of lifecycle sustainment planning, provisioning, and configuration data management processes. Familiarity with Navy logistics systems, technical data packages, and maintenance planning documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with government and contractor personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting NAVSEA or
NAVSEALOGCEN
programs. Familiarity with Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) concepts. Experience reviewing provisioning technical documentation and allowance requirements. Knowledge of Navy supply support processes and lifecycle engineering principles. Prior military or federal contracting experience. Active Secret Clearance preferred.
