Job Description

Company Overview The Robbins Company specializes in manufacturing the most advanced underground excavation equipment used worldwide. Renowned for innovation and technical excellence, we serve contractors engaged in large-scale tunneling projects across the globe. This position will plan, direct, and coordinate logistic and inventory efforts for Global TBM inventory and domestic shipments. Key Responsibilities Select and manage freight forwarders and carriers based on cost, service, and reliability for the purpose of routine use or removal if necessary Negotiate, award, coordinate / execute, and monitor freight for domestic shipments, and support any international shipments as necessary Ensure proper documentation and compliance with shipping requirements Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs Perform necessary ERP tasks for Global TBM (RGT) inventory to manage inventory, movement of inventory, counting, and other ERP efforts Record, analyze, investigate, and reconcile inventory transactions within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and data integrity Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and variances; recommend and implement corrective actions Special assignments or tasks as assigned Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with project teams accounting, and shop personnel to gather information required for transaction analysis and discrepancy resolution Provide clear directions and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate data collection Act as a liaison between RGT operations and logistics providers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in inventory control, ERP analysis, or logistics coordination Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Experience coordinating domestic freight and selecting carriers or freight forwarders Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization High level of independence, initiative, and self-direction Key Competencies Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities Ability to independently trace and analyze complex transactions Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong investigative mindset Proactive and solution-driven approach Effective interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills Describe unusual physical requirements, and/or working conditions : Daily visits to the shop may be required and occasionally will be exposed to fumes, air-borne particles, cold, heat, vibrations and noise.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
