Job Description:
Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a fashion house to hire a Senior Planner. This full-time position is hybrid in NYC. You will be onsite 4 days per week and WFH on Fridays. The pay is $100,000-$120,000.
Job Responsibilities:
The senior planning temp role will focus on shipment and inventory report running, creation, analysis and communication to the leadership team on a weekly, bi-monthly and monthly basis. Must be proficient in excel, be a quick learner/tech savvy, understand demand planning, the shipment forecasting process, margin impacts. Must have experience with pivot tables, take pride in formatting documents for leadership presentation. Ideally the candidate would come from a wholesale planning background in licensed fashion. . Run month-end Shipping reports and create forecast documents that involve sales, margin, royalties and expense impacts. This is a complicated process so temp must be able to multi-task, organize data efficiently. Work with sales team to re-forecast sales shipments and margin. Review with VP's of Planning, Sales and Presidents of each division. Run monthly Inventory reports that include reviewing On-Hand inventory, WIP and forecasting to understand ending inventory and weeks of supply. Analyze replenishment needs, collaborate with accounts, make buy suggestions and report back to VP of Planning for final decision making. Take on Ad-Hoc projects in response to business needs. any additional hindsight findings with the VPs of Sales and Planning.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related field Previous experience in merchandise planning and allocation (Walmart knowledge preferred) Retail Math proficiency a must Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Strong analytical skills, motivated, proactive, and highly organized Team player and problem solver with ability to reach supported conclusions and make robust recommendations in a demanding deadline driven environment
