Job Title:
Demand Planning Professional Location(s): Rockford, TN Role Overview The position focuses on planning, forecasting, inventory management, logistics optimization, KPI analysis, and process improvement. The individual is expected to work independently on operational and analytical assignments while supporting business performance through data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities Forecast demand, production, inventory levels, workforce capacity, and capital expenditure requirements. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: Productivity Profitability Inventory levels Asset utilization On-time delivery Cycle time First Pass Yield (FPY) Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions. Conduct cost, profitability, and business-case analyses for initiatives such as: Product launches Manufacturing changes Facility relocations Supply chain optimization Develop supplier forecasts and coordinate logistics planning with suppliers. Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities, including material phase-in and phase-out processes. Manage inventory planning and inventory reduction initiatives. Analyze logistics and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across supply chain, operations, procurement, manufacturing, and planning teams. Master's degree candidates may be considered at entry level. Expected to work independently with moderate supervision. May provide guidance to junior team members or operational staff.
