Dell Products L.P. is seeking a Senior Advisor, Demand Planning at its Austin, Texas facility.
Duties:
Champion innovative principles and ideas to evaluate market, commodity, and product dynamics to forecast demand trends and performance that impact future demand plans. Identify data, analytics, and market intelligence to manage risks when determining forecast requirements. Develop digital and data analytics strategies to reduce supply chain inefficiencies and transform operational performance. Apply cutting-edge principles, theories, and technologies to drive business strategy and sales objectives through demand, supply, and capacity inputs to orchestrate decisions on forecasts and customer commitments. Adapt analysis to Dells performance and customer environment. Focus on customer and cross functional teams to achieve solutions, driving business outcomes and vision while advising customers on risks, trends, and opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field plus two (2) years of experience in demand planning, logistics or a similar occupation OR Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field. Requires experience with or knowledge of: supply chain modeling and statistical analysis tools; presenting forecasting plans, assumptions, risks, and recommendations; Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; demand forecasting and inventory optimization; data visualization tools, including Power BI, SAP, and ERP systems; and effective collaboration across broad stakeholder groups in fast-paced dynamic work environment. Experience or knowledge may be gained concurrently through graduate-level coursework, research, internship, or teaching.
