This analyst reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Duties include, but are not limited to: Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans. Maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating and demand forecasting. Apply analytic methods and tools to understand, predict and control logistics operations and processes. Maintain databases of logistics information. Balance supply and demand for finished goods to meet service, inventory, and working capital targets. Analyze inventory targets and propose reviews and revisions as necessary Validate and achieve monthly inventory days of supply via redeployment of inventory; facilitate reduction of excess inventory via destocking initiatives. Collaborate closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics, and Sales teams. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in Deployment planning processes and systems Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates and inventory turns. Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping or inventory integrity. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Analytical and quality improvement skills. Strong presentation and time management skills.
Technical Desired Skills:
At least 1-year minimum Supply Planning experience. Experience with an ERP System, preferably SAP ECC or SAP IBP Proficient in Microsoft applications Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLookup, XLookup, Pivot Tables) Knowledge of Supply Chain Management best practices in Supply Planning
