Sales Forecasting Analyst

The Sales Forecasting Analyst will play a key role in identifying sales trends and providing insights that drive business performance for our international accounts. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and creative in their approach, with a strong ability to plan, problem-solve, and think strategically. This individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, point-of-sale trends, and market dynamics. Conduct analytics to evaluate performance across products and retailers and translate insights into actionable strategies. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes of variances, and recommend corrective actions. Support promotional planning, including product launches and seasonal sales surges. Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and sales teams to align forecasts with production and demand planning. Stay current on industry trends and translate insights into impact. Leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs, automation workflows) to enhance analytical efficiency and uncover deeper insights. Support sales representatives to build strong collaborative relationships with external retail merchant teams.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of retail industry best practices; an international focus is preferred. Extensive experience with data visualization software; experience in Omni analytics platform preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel (including lookups, PivotTables, conditionals, data analysis). Proficiency in PowerPoint. Experience with Python and/or SQL preferred. Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment, positivity, and integrity. Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science/Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of retail business analyst experience; international account experience preferred.
