Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract - Program Planning and Controls Specialist opportunity.Job Responsibilities:
Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner. Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and ensure on-time delivery aligned with need-by dates Perform basic sourcing activities for parts and materials as required Review and track order confirmations to ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines Coordinate logistics, including shipment tracking and resolving delivery issues Maintain accurate records of orders, suppliermunications, and delivery status Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on order status, risks, and delays Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows.Job Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in program planning, scheduling, project controls, or similar work Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud Strong experience with Oracle tools Integrated scheduling experience across technical or engineering-heavy programs Strongmunication and organizational skills Ability to work cross-functionally with Program Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and driving alignment across teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to help teams crystalize ideas into clear schedules and execution plans Comfortable working onsite and engaging people in person Nuclear experience is a plus.Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience supporting product development programs Experience in energy, nuclear, or other highly technical industries Experience with schedule reporting, planning reviews, and program tracking Experience working in environments w speed, collaboration, and structure are all important Strong presence, confidence, and ability to drive conversations across multiple teams.Job Details:
