Job Description

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States. Rogers Group is currently seeking a Night Foreman for our quarry operations located in Springdale, Arkansas. The position reports to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence and be a self-starter.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervising quarry employees and night plant operations. Overseeing proper implementation of safety procedures. Control costs to meet budgets and reduce costs to achieve savings. Effectively manage staff by setting clear performance objectives, providing regular feedback, and providing development through training. Ensure compliance with all Company and Government policies and regulations. Ensure processes for quality product production and collaborate with area QC department.
Qualifications:
Experience in quarry operations necessary. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. Strong communication and leadership skills. . Demonstrated ability in identifying, communicating, and implementing best operating practices, including quality, maintenance, production, and safety excellence. Proven safety record and excellent compliance in MSHA safety standards. Possess strong basic math knowledge. Basic surveying and mapping skills are required. Working knowledge of environmental policies, standards, and best practices. Working knowledge of AggQC and AggFlow is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office.
