Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quarry Operations Manager to lead and optimize our quarry site operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive operational efficiency across all facets of quarry management. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and industry regulations will be instrumental in maintaining a productive and safe work environment. Duties Oversee all quarry operations for 6 locations, including extraction, production, processing and shipping. Develop and implement production plans to meet company targets and forecasts. Monitor and control operational costs to improve efficiency and profitability. Oversee maintenance and repair of all quarry equipment to minimize downtime. Develop, implement and enforce comprehensive safety policies, programs and procedures for the aggregate operation, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations, including standards set by OSHA and MSHA, as well as environmental protection agencies. Requirements Proven experience in construction site management or quarry operations Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and MSHA regulations Knowledge of IDOT specifications Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Quarry Operations Manager and lead our team toward operational excellence!
