Job Description

Mining Business Unit ManagerSalary:
$150,000-$200,000 This is a remote role with a privately held environmental solutions company that has been a leader in material handling and pollution control technologies for over a century. The company specializes in custom-engineered systems for heavy industry and water and wastewater solutions, serving power, construction, and industrial clients globally. The Mining Business Unit Manager position will focus on expanding the company's presence in the mining industry, particularly in hard rock and coal mining, by leveraging technical expertise and industry relationships. This position supports sales and marketing efforts through market intelligence, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement. ResponsibilitiesBring about new business opportunities in the mining market through EPC, AE, OEM, and end-user channels.

Cultivate relationships with engineers, project developers, and decision-makers to promote company capabilities.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and major projects across the mining sector.

Advise on mining operations with a focus on water usage, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance.

Contribute to strategic planning and sales initiatives to expand market share and customer engagement. QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or environmental); advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in industrial engineering roles.7+ years of direct experience in the mining industry.

Familiarity with water treatment systems and wear components used in mining processes.

Travel capability.
