Technical Manager - Snubbing 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Odessa, TX KLX Energy Services LLC provides a broad range of technical solutions and equipment to our customers. We provide the right people, best equipment and most convenient locations to deliver expert energy services for every phase of the wellsite. This includes drilling, completions, re-fracing, production, workover, and plug and abandonment. All while working in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and professionalism. We are currently seeking a Technical Manager to support our Snubbing division based out of Odessa, TX.
PURPOSE:
Overseeing the day to day management of the business in the assigned district as well as the effective supervision and management of employees assigned to the district; significant role in long-term planning including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Effectively manages day to day operations of the product line at the site as well as the supervision and management of subordinates. Responsible for quality control and assurance of all equipment, inventory excellence, adhering to all HSE policies including:DOT/FMCSA
regulations. Coordinates and monitors all product line service employees; instructs proper procedures to perform safe and efficient operations. Provide technical support to colleagues and customers. Build rapport to develop long-lasting relationships with clients and meet to plan upcoming projects. To provide specialist advice and recommendations on all policies and instructions as it relates to operations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge Briefing all service employees prior to scheduled job to ensure ability to exceed customer expectation; verify tools and equipment for scheduled job. Act as primary contact for service employees whether at service shop and on location; continuous communication throughout scheduled jobs to ensure proper execution of customer's vision and expectations; troubleshoot issues as necessary to quickly resolve issues. Alert and involve district management in all issues [e.g. employee performance, equipment issues, etc]; address personnel issues with guidance. Drives business development activities with new and existing customers including a customer-oriented experience for services delivered as well as drive toward a customer-oriented experience for services delivered Oversees and maintains inventory; addresses inventory needs with district management Updates and submits daily reports to managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/Equivalent Degree Field (s): •Work Experience:
8-10 yearsSupervisory Experience:
4-6 yearsRelated Experience:
Oilfield services business acumen Relevant experience with management of profit and loss Ability to manage conflict, influence, and negotiate with internal stakeholders Proficiency in MS Office Suite, time, and expense applications Skill in readying technical documents, such as API codes and standards Business development experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
