Job Description
GMS is a North American based Mining & Tunneling Contractor headquartered in Oakland, Maryland with a focus in mine support services. GMS works for both public and private entities across the mining and heavy-civil construction industries. We pride ourselves in managing clean, organized, and professional projects from start to finish with an emphasis on successful client relationships. Much of our work is for repeat clients, including mining companies, large general contractors, engineering companies and the federal government. We utilize proven project management fundamentals on each of our projects. We are currently hiring a Field Maintenance Supervisor at a surface gold mine near Kershaw, SC. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and advancement opportunity. The ideal candidate will be required to gradually relocate to the area (per diem, travel, etc. provided). To gain consideration, candidates must have extensive Surface Mine Maintenance experience (7+ years), ideally working on various CAT & Komatsu equipment. The successful candidate, will work a 7 /7 (7 on, 7 off) schedule working 12-hou shifts. Qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply with an updated resume.
