Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized professional to serve as the Lead Classroom Guide & Office Management Specialist. This unique position combines the rewarding responsibility of guiding and nurturing young children in a vibrant Montessori program with the essential duties of managing office operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, ensuring a positive environment for both children and staff. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, engaging learning space while efficiently overseeing administrative functions that keep our center running smoothly. Duties Lead and supervise Montessori lessons, ensuring developmentally appropriate practices that promote curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth Be confident in classroom management with ages 15 months through 6 years Plan and organize engaging events and activities for children that support their learning milestones Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, calendar management, and maintaining organized filing systems Handle administrative tasks, including creating enrollment and welcome packets Maintain front desk responsibilities with professionalism, greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing phone etiquette Support office management by coordinating classroom tours, communicating with families, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements Proven supervising experience in early childhood education or related fields with a focus on toddler development Strong organizational skills with experience in schedule management, calendar coordination, and office administration Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software for payroll and financial recordkeeping Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to train and develop team members effectively Knowledge of ProCare is a plus but not required; experience with front desk operations or clerical tasks is essential Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency in using phone systems, filing systems, and handling clerical duties efficiently Must possess the ability to learn new software quickly and maintain a growth mindset Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive while supporting the operational excellence of our Montessori School!
