This vital role involves developing innovative strategies to strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, and partners, while overseeing comprehensive campaigns that support the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cultivating meaningful connections, a keen eye for data-driven decision-making, and expertise in nonprofit management to propel our organization toward sustainable growth and increased impact. Prior to employment the selected candidate is required to have a Level 2 background screening which is monitored and maintained by the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals, including major gifts, grants, annual giving, and special campaigns. Cultivate and manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners through personalized engagement and stewardship initiatives. Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, ensuring seamless coordination from concept to post-event follow-up. Develop and present compelling grant proposals and sponsorship requests to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and community partners. Maintain accurate records of donor interactions using appropriate software and databases. Develop budgets for advancement activities; monitor expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.• Develop and implement short- and long-term advancement plans to meet established development goals and objectives. Spear head the annual campaign and provide direct daily management of focused initiatives. Work collaboratively and creatively with Board of Directors and designated staff to appropriately position development opportunities and integrate messages in publications, grant submissions, reports and collateral materials for cultivating and stewarding donors. Clearly articulate and promote the need for philanthropy and build opportunities. Responsible for the cultivation of sponsorships for signature fund raising events. Manage non-profit research and cultivates initiatives with emphasis on pursuing strategies to secure or increase giving from donors. Develop strategies for existing donors to effectively move them through a meaningful cycle of giving. Meets regularly with the Head of School regarding program goals and initiatives and routinely reports to the Board of Directors and appropriate committees. Qualifications Proven experience in nonprofit management or development leadership with a strong track record of successful fundraising campaigns. Expertise in event planning, events management, and digital marketing tools Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders including donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners. Strong proposal writing skills for grants and sponsorships; experience in grant proposal development is essential. Knowledge of budgeting processes along with data collection techniques for tracking campaign performance. Familiarity with social media management strategies to maximize outreach efforts across multiple platforms. Understanding of estate planning concepts related to wills, trusts, and estate law as they pertain to planned giving initiatives. Ability to negotiate effectively with partners while maintaining positive relationships; experience in public relations is advantageous. Exceptional research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities to identify new funding opportunities and growth avenues.
