Township of Lawrence, NJ Job Details Part-time $40 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Housing advocacy Collaboration with board members Social media platforms Supervising experience Affordable housing management Bachelor's degree Tenant advocacy Housing services Maintenance management Nonprofit industry grant writing Implementation of strategic initiatives Senior level Non-profit experience Communication skills Property management Board relations Full Job Description Job Summary LNPH is seeking seeking a gifted and dedicated individual to serve as its first Executive Director, to assist the Board of Trustees through the implementation of its newly updated mission and first-ever strategic plan. A major role of the Board is to oversee the operation, maintenance and progress of Eggerts Crossing Village, a 100-unit rental complex for low- and moderate-income families in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. It does that primarily through a contracted management agent, which has been PRD Management since 2008. Additional Board roles include helping EC Village residents to achieve their financial, housing and related goals and to advocate for the value of affordable housing in Lawrence Township. Qualifications LNPH is open to considering candidates who bring a variety of professional backgrounds.
Preferred qualifications include:
An appropriate college degree Proven communication skills, written and verbal Successful experience in grant writing Successful experience in working on or with a non-profit board Successful experience using social media Successful experience in a supervisory role Some experience/familiarity with affordable housing Some familiarity with the Lawrence Township/Mercer County community
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
