SILSA NW SILSA NW
supports professionals in the fire alarm, security, integration, monitoring, and life safety industries throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our members include installers, service providers, central stations, manufacturers, vendors, and local jurisdictional authorities. Through education, networking, industry resources, and events, we help strengthen collaboration across the life safety and security community. Position Overview
SILSA NW
is seeking an Executive Director to support the association's daily operations, Board of Directors, events, communications, finances, and long-term goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain financial records using QuickBooks. (QuickBooks experience required)
  • Prepare budgets, profit and loss reports, and financial updates for Board meetings.
  • Coordinate annual tax preparation, including Form 990-EZ.
  • Manage website updates, social media content, and member communications.
  • Coordinate the annual meeting, monthly speaker programs, while supporting various committees.
  • Attend
SILSA NW
events, including at least two in-person events per year.
  • Support Board member recruitment, training, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Board to develop, implement, and track long-term goals.
  • Support membership and sponsorship management, including renewals, communication, benefits, and engagement.
  • Participate in committees and assist with committee-related tasks and follow-up.
Compensation This is a paid part-time position with a salary range of $32,000-$38,000, depending on qualifications. Location Remote, with at least two in-person meetings or events per year, generally held in the Seattle area.

$32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
