Guided by the belief that housing is a fundamental human right, Posada is committed to creating opportunities for people to thrive through dignity, safety, and compassionate support. Posada is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and impact. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the organization and is responsible for strategic leadership, financial stewardship, organizational management, fundraising, community engagement, and program oversight. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with experience in affordable housing, homelessness services, nonprofit management, or a related field. This individual will be passionate about advancing Posada's mission while building strong relationships with staff, community partners, funders, government agencies, and the Board of Directors. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Lead the development and implementation of Posada's strategic plan. Advance innovative and sustainable housing solutions that address community needs. Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Identify opportunities for organizational growth and expanded community impact. Financial and Operational Management Oversee the organization's annual budget, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources and assets. Develop and diversify revenue streams through grants, philanthropy, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives. Provide oversight of property management, capital projects, and long-term facility planning. Community Relations and Advocacy Serve as the primary spokesperson and public representative for Posada. Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, funders, community leaders, and partner organizations. Advocate for policies and resources that support affordable housing and housing stability. Increase community awareness of Posada's mission and impact. Board and Team Leadership Partner closely with the Board of Directors on governance, strategy, and organizational performance. Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Promote professional growth and leadership development among staff. Maintain a positive and mission-focused organizational culture. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive senior leadership experience. Experience in affordable housing, homelessness services, human services, community development, or a related field. Demonstrated success in fundraising, grant development, and donor engagement. Strong financial management and budget oversight experience. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills. High emotional intelligence and a commitment to servant leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience securing and managing local, state, and federal grants. Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, HOME, and CDBG. Familiarity with the Pueblo community or a strong interest in serving Southern Colorado. Spanish language proficiency.
Pay:
